It is SO warm out today . It feels more like summer then spring. But my brain is on spring and the little things that are a part of it..here is a piece of paper that I doodled around on thinking spring thoughts.

Here is another thing that happened in my house.. my second grandgirl noticed the empty frames on my wall ( I like empty frames on walls!) she didn't think that was quite right so she 'fixed' it. I love this look and they will stay this way till the next season !.

a blast from the past

If you read my blog when I first started it you would remember seeing this little guy !!.. It is soon time for Easter again and I am thinking about what I can do this year... guess it will have to wait just a little while. I haven't been inspired yet!. I think this little guy is still very cute.

picture not great.. but little furniture is !!!

I made it !! just by the hair of my chinny chin chin !!.. I managed to get a doll table and chair set painted before we head off to the craft show in ND. I am selling the furniture kits.. not all painted up .. I just wanted to show some fun ways that they would be decorated.. I am NOT a folk art artist .. but I still had fun doing this. Time to head to another town to pick up the van to load the van and get on the road. I know the picture quality is not the best.. but I thought you might enjoy seeing it anyway !!

Here is a little house I did last night and this morning... I love to make these. This one is for a brand new baby girl... inside there is a tiny heart charm . Someday I hope her mom and dad put it on a charm braclet filled with many memories for her. This is house number two. The first one I made before I actually had the charm and once I got it, the box did'nt fit inside my little house . Oh well, the second one turned out much better !

Trying new things

It was a simple idea.. I was going to show you how to make a simple crown for you doll... and yes I took all the pictures neccessary. and yes I tried to find where I downloaded them this morning..but the sad story is I can't find them all... so until I get a few more lessons in where I download stuff.. here is the final product. This is my favorite doll to make things for . She is a Faith and Friends doll that is no longer being made . I like her size and her smile and her red hair. I have always told my husband that I was going to dye my hair red just for the fun of it.... he told me go ahead.. the beautician said.. yah,,, maybe not !!!! Maybe someday I will but for now I will live my redhairness...........though my doll !!!
